As the evening light poured through the grasses and trees and cast a warm, glowing light on the field, the kids romped through the tall growth and made some lasting memories. This homeschooled family was a dream to capture, as they were filled with love and silliness.

About once a month, we make a trek down to Visalia, since we have family there. So I was more than happy to capture some gorgeous sun-drenched photos for this extended family. Their kids were loving the bubbles and were ready to play in the dirt!

Your modesto family Photography
My husband and I had to wait several years before we became parents. I know this isn't everyone's story, but that need to wait really put into perspective how short-lived the childhood years really are. We have absolutely cherished being parents, and have marveled at their little details--the pudgy hands, the joyful shrieks, the emerging personalities. But that being said, we are absolutely not immune to the daily grind. As they say, the days seem to go so incredibly slowly, but we are in shock that after years of living in survival mode, our kids are already in their 6th year, and we are left wondering where all that time went! Their details change almost imperceptibly, until one day, your phone shows you photos from one year ago, and you realize just how little they really were! Take it from me, and make sure you get photos before that baby pudge is completely gone and you are left with a KID! :)
IT'S TRUE WHAT THEY SAY-THE YEARS REALLY DO GO FAST, EVEN IF THE DAYS MAY SOMETIMES FEEL LONG.

2. Sign your Contract + Pay Your Retainer
Once you have decided to book, I will send you a contract and a short questionnaire. When you pay your non-refundable retainer fee (that will go towards the total cost of your session), you are officially official! I will send you an email to confirm, and we will keep in touch as we get closer to your session!
Once I receive your questionnairre, that will help me know exactly what you are looking for (or at least get a general idea!). We will discuss location ideas, and I can also help you curate a wardrobe by sending you a wardrobe guide and answer any questions you may have!
3. Wardrobe & Location Planning
Family sessions take place about 1.5-2 hours before sunset to get that lovely evening glow. I will show up a few minutes early to your location, scout out the best spots, and when you arrive, I will meet you and walk you to where we will be going. I like to give you light guidance into placement, and also encourage activities and games with the little ones to help them feel relaxed and having fun. Personally, I love grabbing lots of candid photos while also, of course, some posed photos that you can use for your wall and for Christmas cards!
4. let's shoot!
I will send your photos within three weeks, with the option to order prints and albums directly from your gallery. These are professional and beautiful! You will also be able to download your gallery for your own personal use.

Collections from $250
Can you take these photos with your IPhone? Of course, but if you are wanting ART, you have come to the right place! Mini sessions take place about twice a year and are $250, while a full session starts at $450 and can be done any time of the year.
