I can provide both doula services and photo/video of your birth, limiting the number of service providers present, and giving you something to share with those who were not there (or keep for yourself!) 

Step 1:

In order to give you the time and attention that you deserve, I only take two births per month, two maternity sessions, and two newborn sessions, so I can fill up pretty quickly.  Shoot me a message with your due date and type of session your are looking for, and if I have availability, I'll send you a link to sign your contract and pay your retainer. If not, I will refer you to one of the amazing photographers near you.

Step 2:

I'll send you a questionnaire to get to know you better, we will have ample communication, and if you are booking a birth session, we will chat either on zoom or in person and discuss birth details and preparation.

Step 3:

I say " the big day" because birth is literally one of the most important and life-altering days of your life, even moreso than a wedding, if I can be so bold. My goal for you is that once your session date (or baby time!) is here, you feel comfortable, ready, and confident, that you will have some beautiful memories, and that you can know that I will be there every step of the way. Beautiful art will happen! :)

As many as 50% of birthing individuals have reported their birth as being traumatic. Let's be honest....giving birth is one of the largest mountains you are going to climb, and that runs the risk of getting hurt--physically, mentally, and/or emotionally. 
Hiring a doula AND a photographer not only allows you to have that physical, mental, and emotional support, but you are ALSO able to see those photos and mentally and emotionally process what happened.
Furthermore, all of my clients, whether doula clients or photography clients or both, will receive one free therapy session that can be used before or after birth to help process and heal from any type of trauma that may have arisen as a result of your current OR a previous birth experience.
