As both a certified doula and birth photographer, I understand the rhythms of labor and the emotional weight of these moments. I know when to step back, when to quietly lean in, and how to hold space while telling the story unfolding in front of me.
With motherhood sessions, I take a similar gentle approach--focusing on connection, not choreography. No pressure for everyone to "behave" or look perfect. Just space to breathe, be yourself, and love your people.

can't believe I have been a Modesto photographer since 2017. It feels like yesterday when I got my first "real" camera and started taking photos of everything. But everything shifted in December of 2018, when our long-awaited children arrived. Suddenly, I could see how fast everything changes--sometimes in just a matter of weeks.
I wanted to freeze time. So I kept photographing. And somewhere along the way, this passion turned into a calling.
Today, I'm honored to create meaningful, heartfelt images that allow parents to remember what it felt like. The way tiny fingers curled around yours. The quiet strength in those first moments of birth. The beauty of a season that so often blurs by.
Every story I document reminds me why I started. I'm deeply grateful to serve as a birth and motherhood photographer here in Modesto -- and I'm so glad you're here!

When you book with me, my main goal is to create an experience that allows you to be yourselves, for all of you to relax into it. Because when the years fast forward, you aren't going to be as concerned with the perfectly poised photo as you will want to remember all the tender little things that make your kids who they are. They are your whole heart, and you will want to remember their little nuances.
